HIV Vaccine Handbook: Community Perspectives on Participating in Research, Advocacy, and Progress
SummaryText
From the Introduction:
This handbook intends to be a primer on HIV vaccines from the perspective of AIDS-affected communities. It aims to be a "resource and reference, particularly for potential trial participants and advocates. Though this anthology may contain more than most would want or need to know about the subject, it only scratches the surface of the complex science, policy, and economic issues involved. It is composed largely from previously published pieces by Bill Snow and entirely by volunteer vaccine advocates who are personally involved in the search for a preventative HIV vaccine."
