Men-Streaming Gender in Sexual and Reproductive Health & HIV/AIDS

This toolkit, developed as a part of the MenEngage and the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)'s work on engaging men and boys in sexual and reproductive health and rights and HIV/AIDS, has been prepared to help organisations create affirmative policies which promote the positive roles that men can play in improving their own sexual and reproductive health - and those of women and children. This toolkit also serves to support IPPF Member Associations in the implementation of the federation’s policy on ‘Men and Sexual and Reproductive Health’ (adopted in 2008).

The toolkit could be used to: undertake a major review of existing policies; create a new policy statement; and consider how best to incorporate men into new policies in specific areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights and HIV work.
