HIV Glossary [CD-ROM]

Published by the AIDS Research Information Center, Inc. (ARIC), this CD-ROM is the electronic version of ARIC's "AIDS Medical Glossary for People with HIV/AIDS".

According to ARIC, The HIV Glossary is designed to be an AIDS patient reference written in simple language geared to the layman. It defines the many hundreds of new terms, treatments, diseases, and concepts that persons with HIV encounter during their medical care. "It allows patients to easily and fully understand both their disease process and their medical treatment by providing accurate information in a simple, concise format that is easy to follow. All entries are joined by simple hypertext links, which operate like a standard webpage, allowing the reader to jump to new information instantly."
