Engaging Communities through Communication for Good Development
"C4D aims to create a more balanced power environment where development decisions can be made. It work empowers the people and communities most affected by development issues to take proactive ownership of communication processes so their voice is heard in decisions that impact their lives. These processes ensure the best chance of social outcomes and change that benefit their community at large."
This video provides an introduction to communication for development (C4D), as well as a focus on how good communication underpins good practice and can be used to engage communities in the field. - Tamara Plush, who has more than 20 years of experience in video production – focusing most recently on using participatory video (PV) and community digital storytelling as a tool to address climate change and poverty reduction. She is the current coordinator of the Brisbane C4D Network.
